Horses are particularly effective at delivering professional development through leadership training. Horses are a prey animal who learn to adapt so that they can survive in the herd.
They demand skills and attributes such as confident leadership, powerful decision making skills from moment to moment, trust, respect, support, and an acute awareness of what is going on around them within the herd and their broader environment. Following the example of herd dynamics, participants are taught to recognise the parallels between what the horse is teaching them, and how this relates to their personal and professional life. * Please note, due to the nature of the programs with the horses, we can take a maximum of 8 participants at each workshop. However if your school, organisation or department requires a workshop for up to 12 participants, we can tailor the day by utilising an external leadership trainer.
